Natural resources in Switzerland are scarce. Therefore the well-being of our country depends on innovation in science and economy. Accordingly the Swiss research landscape is exceptionally rich and vibrant.

Plant sciences are an important player within this research landscape, in practice-oriented fields as well as in basic research.
