SPSW Mobility Grants
The SPSW offers two types of mobility grants:
- Mobility grants for research stays (max. CHF 2000.-) are offered to PhD students and postdocs to visit other Swiss research groups for a certain period of time in order to experience different research environments, to exchange ideas, and to learn about new approaches, methods and techniques. These grants are also offered to PhD students and postdocs who visit one of the three technology platforms supported by the SPSW where they can perform specific analyses.
- Mobility grants for courses (max. CHF 300.-) are offered to PhD students to attend courses at another SPSW institution. The grant can be used to cover travel and accommodation costs or the course registration fees.
Who can apply? PhD students and postdocs who are part of an SPSW institution can apply for the mobility grants.
What can we cover? Visits to Swiss research groups, the technology platforms or courses within the SPSW will be sponsored. Funding for the cost of travel and housing (food excluded) can be requested.
Deadlines for mobility grants applications: Applications can be sent at any time. A decision is usually made within 3 weeks.
